Fresh, invigorating scent!

I really like their products. The Ascent Splash is clean and crisp. I use the entire Ascent line and several of Barberry Coast's other products too. Their shave cream is better than others and I've tried most of them. And to top it all off, my wife really likes them too and that's good enough for me. I wholeheartedly recommend this really nice family business with fab products.

A Whisper of a Fragrance

I purchased this bottle because I like the Bay Rum after shave so much. Based on the description I was expecting a deep woodsy cedar fragrance with plenty of base notes which would be perfect for the winter. However it is nothing like that. Ascent has a fresh scent but way too light and airy to the point that it is quite weak.

Love the scent! As some other reviewers have noted, the scent does not last long, I wish they could make it last longer. I really like Barberry Coast products, love the bay rum aftershave. Will be buying more...

Finally the perfect aftershave!!

After years of desperately searching for a decent aftershave splash (including trying dozens of super-expensive brand names) I finally came upon Ascent, and I can finally rest easy. It’s a clean, refreshing, wonderful scent that is the perfect balance of lasting strength without smelling like I just walked out of a Jersey Nightclub. Ascent is alcohol based (which is exactly what I was trying to find) that has the slightest, refreshing post-shave burn that rapidly dissipates. Barberry hit a home run with this aftershave, and I can’t imagine buying any other! Highly recommend!

Woodsy, Piney Scent

Little expensive for aftershave, but I wanted to give it a shot since the stuff I can get in the local drug store smells awful. Really like the scent. Bit of a pine note and some spicy scents mixed in. Still smell it a little a few hours after splashing it on. Subtle, not overpowering. Very nice. Will be trying more from them.

Kingston, mahn—dig it!!

That fragrance (Kingston), although now discontinued, is still one of my favorites at Barberry Coast. Jamaica island’s heritage is a true melting pot, featuring significant East Indian, Chinese, Lebanese, and European influences as Allen & Tina have captured the fragrance notes that define the cultural & heritage diversity—mellow inclusivity in a bottle. I plan to go slow on this last bottle so the experience will last!

Muscle Comfort Cream is great for post-workout recovery!

This stuff is great! No longer being a spring chicken, I find that the "usual" aches and pains are becoming worse...and this stuff definitely helps both with normal recovery and - even better - when I overdo it. It soothes and warms and when I cramp up (not if), it helps ease the pain and allows for a faster recovery. It is particularly useful in easing muscle soreness before bed allowing the Sandman to show up more-quickly.
