HOW TO USE

Love the store and product

Once you determine which fragrance(s) are your favorites, and the products you need, the only thing that is left to rate is shipping. In months when demand is high, shipping may be delayed by a few days. That said, when you find the product you like, it'll be worthy of 5 stars and you won't mind the delay!
For a small business they do alright except, QUIT running out of favorite items!

Great Customer Service

I ordered the face scrub with the pump. When it arrived the scrub had been compacted in the pump rendering the pump unusable. I even tried soaking the pump and washing it out to no avail. I reached out to customer service and they could not have been more responsive. Within two days I received a brand new scrub in their new squeeze bottle. Apparently the pump problem has been an issue. Hopefully they will switch over entirely to the squeeze bottle. I purchased the Bay Rum after shave along with the face scrub. Love the scent of both. Not too strong and cool to the skin.

The fine walnut particles are effective but not so abrasive that this can’t be used every day. (I wouldn’t advise twice in the same day - ya know, morning then evening.) And you don’t need much - I squeeze out a nickel sized dollop in the palm of my hand, rub together very briefly and apply to my wet face. Luxury! And I feel a pronounced upgrade in the quality of shave.

WINTER ORDER

This is my second time ordering product from the company. First time, I was happy. This second order was the face scrub; fine and, a 4 pack of roller ball colognes which came leaking and labels peeling up. I was pretty disappointed in how much was leaked out but, didn't bother to return. The package was delivered in the mailbox and so, in the winter weather... maybe the items were ruined by sitting in the mailbox for about 6 hours.

I started buying on the company website last year after I got what I suspected was a counterfeit product on Amazon. The price is also less on the company website. Generally,it takes them two days to process the order (pick it, pack it, invoice and print the label) - so it usually ships the day after you placed your order (48 hours). My orders ship out of the Southwest, I don't know if they have multiple warehouses - but once the product is picked up, I see it two days later. So if I bought it on Monday - I see the product by Friday. I'm good with that timeline - its also why I buy two bottles at a time, so I don't run out.

I love Bay Rum

I love Bay Rum, it is my favorite aftershave, it does not have that weird funky smell that most men's products have. I am not sure what it is, but thank god it does not have it (the stuff that smell like Axe :))

Anyway, this is the best one that I have found, the most traditional that I have found from what I have read on Bay Rum and the formulation has not changed in the 5 years I have been using it - unlike Royal and St. Johns.

It's light, and settles in quickly, you don't have to worry about using too much because it dissipates so nicely. Also, it is much more like a tonic, I don't just but it on my face after a shave - I rub my scalp chest and arms with it - its a great year round scent for a warm climate. In fact, on hot days, a quick splash is refreshing and cooling.

Why more men don't use Bay Rum is beyond me - but that's cool, I like being the guy that women like to smell. I do wish it came in a larger bottle and a travel size bottle would be great as well. You can travel with the 4oz bottle but it is a bit big for a toiletry bag. A two ounce travel size would be great - I'd buy three of four at a time. As it is, I buy two 4oz bottles every time I start to run low.

So, a great product...one of the few branded products I stick with and I hope they never change.

Awesome aftershave

Awesome aftershave especially for the price. It’s definitely not a scent I’ve had in the past so I appreciate how unique it is. I put it in a spray bottle and it works really well. It’s a very light and refreshing scent/feel and it smells incredible and I’ve gotten lots of compliments on it so far.

What is good about bay rum?

Smells like the "holidays" should smell.
I bought two bottles. You have spray a bit and let the bottles sit for two or three months in a dark place for the oils to blend and let the scent mature.

I've been shaving with a brush and shaving soap for more than 30 years and have used dozens of different soaps. This is hands down the best. I am experimenting with Bay Rum scented products. I have been using Ogallala Bay Rum soap/shampoo. I purchased so I could carry solid soap and shampoo in carry-on luggage. Then I tried aftershave. I like the soap but not the aftershave.
I love Barberry Coast Bay Rum aftershave. I love the scent and the fact that the scent lasts for quite a while. I look forward to trying more products.
